Clint Hastings

Clint Hastings, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, has been working in the Cherokee Nation Washington Office Since January, 2011.  Clint began work at the CNWO after obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in the Summer of 2010.  In 2006, Clint graduated with a B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Arkansas.  At the University of  Central Arkansas, Clint was also a member of the Honors College, where he wrote and presented an honors thesis, titled "The Cherokee Nation and Casino Gaming."

Clint is particularly interested in advocating on behalf of the Cherokee Nation's business interests, the role of casino gaming in the economies of tribal nations, and the safety of Cherokee citizens living within the Cherokee Nation's 14 county jurisdiction in eastern Oklahoma.

Outside of work, Clint enjoys following Arkansas Razorbacks sports, the Houston Rockets of the NBA, traveling to sunny locales, and learning more about the hundreds of tribal nations across the United States.
